Join us for a Celebration of Success

As we move towards the close of the school year, we want to pause, look back, and celebrate the remarkable difference you are making in the lives of your students — together.

📅 Tuesday 30 June | 🕑 1.30 pm – online | All current and past SIS members welcome

Our final Network drop-in of the year will be a little different. Instead of our usual 2 pm start, we are gathering slightly earlier at 1.30 pm on Tuesday 30 June — and we want this session to feel like the celebration it truly deserves to be.

"So often, we focus on what still needs to be done. This session is a chance to pause, notice what is working, and recognise how much brilliant practice is happening across our community."

We will be hearing from current members about the strategies they have implemented, the ideas that grew through peer support, and the moments where they saw real change. We are also inviting past Sensory Inclusive Schools Network members to come back, share their reflections, and talk about the lasting impact sensory inclusive practice has had in their settings.

How would you like to share your success?

There are two ways to take part — choose whichever works best for you.

Attend live Join us on 30 June at 1.30 pm and share your success story directly with the community in the session.

Can't make it? Submit a short 2–3 minute video or a PDF case study of your success story and we will share it with the group on your behalf.

Your success story could be...

  • A new sensory space and the story of how you advocated for it
  • A change to sensory circuits that better meets student needs
  • A strategy helping a student feel safer, more regulated, or more able to participate
  • How the Person Environment Occupation model has moved thinking forward
  • A student now joining in, coping, learning, playing, or transitioning in a new way
  • A shift in staff confidence or whole-school understanding of sensory needs

No achievement is too small. Sometimes the smallest changes make the biggest difference to a student's day.

Get in touch to share your story

Whether you are joining live or sending something in advance, we would love to hear from you. A photo, a short reflection, a few bullet points, a 2–3 minute video, or a PDF case study — anything you are happy to share is warmly welcome.

Email your story or let us know you will be sharing on the day: [email protected]

This session will be recorded and shared within the Sensory Inclusive Schools Network, because these stories matter. They help us learn from each other, celebrate each other, and show what becomes possible when sensory inclusive practice is woven into everyday school life.

We cannot wait to celebrate with you all.
